College Goal Sunday

As most senior parents have heard, the state is now requiring seniors, starting with the class of 2024, to complete a FAFSA. The state's goal is to increase the college going rate. Please be checking your email for further information. There are a couple of FAFSA help days approaching! For these events, parents and students having their FSA IDs created at least several days in advance is highly encouraged. Some seniors have already done this. It could be helpful to take 2022 tax returns and W2s as well. See the attached flyer for the first event, College Goal Sunday. We are also having a filing help day on Thursday, March 7 from 6-7 pm at the high school. More information to come. When the FAFSA has been submitted, the student will receive a confirmation email with the SAI. If students are not considering college in the next year and don't want to submit a FAFSA, an opt out form should be completed and returned to the Guidance Office. If you have any questions about FSA IDs or the events, please reach out to Mrs. Rose in Guidance (). Happy FAFSA filing!
